| 02. | DGAL BASKETBALL TRAVEL TEAM TRYOUTS DGAL basketball travel teams will participate in the Cape Cod Youth Basketball League as well as several local tournaments throughout the winter. There will be 6th, 7th, and 8th grade teams. Tryouts will be held at the Dartmouth Middle School gymnasium. The schedule is: Saturday October 25th 6:30-8PMCoach needed for 7th Grade Travel Team All girls wishing to participate will need to register for the DGAL basketball league. Registration will be held 21 and 23 October from 6-8PM, 21 Bridge Street in Dartmouth. There will be a $5 fee for tryouts to offset the cost of gym time. The Dartmouth Girls Athletic League is a non-profit organization intended for the enjoyment and participation of young women who are legal residents of the Town of Dartmouth and are in the grade levels of kindergarten through twelfth grade. The DGAL's mission is to promote women's sports in the Town of Dartmouth by developing good players, promoting fun and team spirit, and advocating and teaching good sportsmanship to all players, coaches, parents and fans. |
